Meet Janet
Janet grew up on a farm in southeast Nebraska, where she developed a strong work ethic and lasting connection to rural life. She began her healthcare career as a Certified Nursing Assistant and went on to earn her RN, BSN, and MSN from Bryan School of Nursing and the University of Nebraska Medical Center, becoming a dually certified Family Practice and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Janet has worked in private practice, rural hospitals, corrections, developmental care, and the Lincoln VA, where she helped expand psychiatric telehealth services. She has also owned a behavioral health clinic and served in leadership roles.
A lifelong Nebraskan, Janet is dedicated to her community through service in education, including volunteering in schools, serving on the TriCounty Board of Education, and having experience in 4-H leadership. She continues to support her family farm, carrying forward her deep roots in agriculture.
